Princeton Paleography Lab (PPLab) Spring Workshop

The Medieval Studies Program announces the Princeton Paleography Lab (PPLab).
The PPLab consists of a workshop organized and led by Prof. Daniela Mairhofer (Department of Classics).
It will meet bi-weekly for the rest of the spring semester: Thursdays, 4:30–6:00pm in the Index of Medieval Art seminar room (Green Hall, 2-S-5):

Each session covers basic elements of Latin Paleography through work with manuscript evidence in both digital and physical formats.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own examples of manuscripts or charters to work with. Each session will teach participants how to recognize scripts, decipher abbreviations, and work with other characteristics of Latin documents from the early to late Middle Ages.
Undergraduates, graduate students, post-docs and faculty all welcome.
