The Race Before Modernity Book Club will hold its first session, on Thursday, October 28th, at 12 pm, via Zoom, where participants will be reading Matthew X. Vernon, The Black Middle Ages: Race and the Construction of the Middle Ages (Cham, Switzerland: Palgrave Macmillan, 2018). The session will be facilitated by Andrew Finn (English).
