Problems in Indo-European Linguistics: Old IrishCourse Cancelled

Joshua Timothy Katz

Back to "Fall 2016" courses

An introduction to Old Irish, the language spoken and written in Ireland in the period A.D. 600-900. The focus is squarely on learning as much of the grammar as possible, to some extent with the aid of historical and comparative linguistic methods. Students who successfully complete the class are well on their way to being able to read original texts.
