Ovide Moralisé: Manuscript Tradition and Translation Strategies

The Ovide Moralisé constitutes the first complete adaptation of Ovid’s Metamorphoses into French, a masterpiece of 72.000 octosyllabes to which there remain today no fewer than 22 witnesses.
